HEL Rimu NP Rangers Development have finished on top of the table after the weekend when they claimed a 19-0 win over Worley Woodleigh FC Women with seven goals to Shareece Kahukaka-Taylor, five goals to Jessica Browne, a hat trick to Tiaan Neatherway and a brace to Heidi Johns. Kaitake FC Women sit in second place as they won 11-0 against Eltham AFC Ladies Premiership as Rebecca Sumpter netted six goals with braces to Liz Walkin and Erina Leigh. Hipp Accounting Ltd Hawera FC won an exciting game 4-3 when they hosted Moturoa AFC Women’s Prems, Paula Dimock scoring twice for Hawera and Julie Withers twice for Moturoa. Talia Hinz’s brace was the different for NPGHS as they won 2-0 away to Offshore Plumbing Services Waitara SC, Gravity Sign & Design Studio Inglewood Women won a hard fought match 1-0 against Tungsten Legal Stratford AFC and Equipfix Peringa United Ladies had the Bye.
Yorb Taranaki Men’s Premiership
TMT Building Ltd Moturoa AFC lead the pack after Round 1 when they secured a 5-2 home victory against Premier Heating NPBHS 1st XI with Corban Richardson bagging a brace for Moturoa. NZ Forestry Peringa United Premiers travelled down to take on Hawera Kitchens Ltd Hawera FC and it was Peringa who came out on top 4-2 thanks to a Cody Buck Brace with William Van Kerssen also getting a brace for Hawera. The final match saw Peggy Gordon’s NP Rangers AFC knock over last season’s Champions Rampage Fitness FC Western 3-1 at Merrilands Domain.
Taranaki Men’s Championship
Millwards Roofing FC Western start the season top of the ladder when they won 8-1 away over Trafficr NP Rangers AFC, Matthew Sanger scoring a hat trick with doubles to Joseph Crowe and Italo Pavao. Inglewood AFC Championship shared the goals around as they defeated Peringa United Championship 6-1 at Peringa Park. Mark Frost Electrical Hawera FC picked up the 1-0 win when hosting Novotel Woodleigh FC, Western Autos Moturoa AFC played out a 2-2 draw with Cross Country Rentals NPBHS 2nd XI and last season’s Champions Cunningham Construction Kaitake FC had the Bye.

Wonder Minerals Kaponga SC got off to the perfect start this season when they defeated last year’s Champions Shining Peak NP Rangers AFC Oddbodz 5-1 at home thanks to a hat trick from Brad Coad and a double from Lautaro Alvarez. CG Office Furniture FC Western Flaming Wolverines got revenge from last season’s Nimmos Cup Final by beating Taranaki Thru Tubing NP Rangers AFC 3-0 at Merrilands Domain. Smart Rehab & Physio Peringa United Ballers also won 3-0 when hosting Elca Stainless Inglewood AFC, Smith & Sons Eltham AFC got a 4-2 away win at Moturoa AFC Div1 thanks to a brace from Brendon Gernhoefer and KP Joinery Waitara SC had the Bye.

Webber Building Kaitake FC HB’s have taken the Challenge Trophy off Egmont Texturers NP Rangers AFC in the opening match of the season by the score of 5-1 with David Gilmour bagging a triple. Defending Champions Marty Suchy Harcourts FC Western got off to winning ways in 2023 with a 4-0 away win at Withers Coachlines FDMC Senior Team with the goals being shared around. In the final match McDonald’s Real Estate Stratford AFC proved too strong for Pipeline Peringa United as Stratford won 3-1.

Taranaki Men’s Division 3 is a newly formed league this season and it kicked off with a bang. Rob Mason Electrical Group Woodleigh FC took a big 9-0 victory when hosting Paul Hamlin Builders Eltham AFC, Jaedyn Davis netting four goals and Jon Rimmer two. Orchard Contracting Ltd Hawera FC won 8-1 at home against Moturoa AFC Div3 with braces to Steven Yelseth and Rhys Wineera. Daniel Clark picked up a brace for Peringa United Socials as they won 3-0 away to Waitara SC Div3 and the final game saw Inglewood AFC Div3 defeated Stratford AFC Reserves 3-0 with a double to Graig Adamson.
